My contributions to my short film, EL MATADOR. I was responsible for the direction and storyline of the film, choreography and animation of the dance battle, style guides and designs for the characters, the illustration of some beat boards, and the animation, cleanup, coloring, and compositing of each of my shots.
A short film I directed throughout the course of 10 weeks with a team of 9 2D animators. Based on the song El Matador by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, this short film illustrates a greedy bullfighter who, constantly thirsting for glory, encounters his most difficult opponent yet—a shape-shifting bull demon who gives him a battle that is literally, to die for.
Eagle Sleep illustrates a lonely eagle roaming a post-apocalyptic world in search of a place to finally rest. For a college film student’s passion project, I was asked to 2D animate scenes depicting an eagle navigating a world in the midst of destruction. This animation is segmented alongside clips of film in the final music video. All animation done in Procreate.
